This notice is to make the general public aware that Highland SICAV plc (“the Scheme”) recently requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept the surrender the collective investment scheme licences granted in relation to its only two sub-funds, Absolute Income Fund and Alpha Index Fund. The MFSA has accepted the Scheme’s request. This surrender is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from 18 February 2019, the Scheme ceased to be licensed by the MFSA.
