This notice is to make the general public aware that Mr Glen Azzopardi requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept the cancellation of the registration which was issued to him to act as a company service provider in terms of Article 5 of the Company Service Providers Act, 2013. The MFSA has accepted the cancellation of such registration. This cancellation is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from 25th January 2017, Mr Azzopardi ceased to be registered by the MFSA. Mr Azzopardi will continue to act as company service provider in his personal capacity as a warranted accountant and auditor and as exempt from the requirement of registration in terms of Article 3(1)(a) of the Company Service Providers Act, 2013.
