New premises for the Registry of Companies at the MFSA were officially inaugurated by the Hon. Prime Minister, Dr. Lawrence Gonzi on the 4th of February. The event coincided with the 10th Anniversary of the opening of the offices housing the Malta Financial Services Authority.

The Prime Minister stated that the opening of the new offices is ‘a statement of success towards an industry which experienced a gigantic growth spurt within a short period of time, contributing immensely towards positive economic growth.’ Dr. Lawrence Gonzi continued to say that ‘through the MFSA, our country enjoys a streamlined and forward-looking regulatory set-up’. A commemorative Plaque was unveiled to mark the occasion in the presence of guests and MFSA staff.
