Revocation of Licence of The International Banking Corporation (Malta) plc

The Malta Financial Services Authority, in accordance with the provisions of the Banking Act (Chapter 371 of the laws of Malta) has revoked, with effect from 11th June 2010, the licence granted to The International Banking Corporation (Malta) plc on the 16th November 2007.

On the 3rd September 2009, the Authority had restricted the banking licence of The International Banking Corporation (Malta) plc (Company registration C42805) due to circumstances affecting its majority shareholder, The International Banking Corporation B.S.C., which had been placed under administration by the Central Bank of Bahrain on the 30th July 2009.
