The Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA” or “the Authority”) has become aware of an entity by the name of GKFX Trading Account (“the Entity”) which has an internet presence at https://gkfxtradingaccount.com/. This website is making unauthorised use of the details and website contents of an MFSA licensed company, AKFX Financial Services Ltd, as well as its registered trademarks containing the letters “GKFX” in an effort to deceive the public.
The Entity might also be making use of social media and other networking channels such as Telegram to interact with and potentially defraud prospective consumers.
The Authority would like to inform the public that https://gkfxtradingaccount.com/ is NOT a Maltese registered company NOR is it authorised to provide any financial services in or from Malta. Additionally, https://gkfxtradingaccount.com/ has NO association with AKFX Financial Services Ltd and/or its registered trademarks containing the same letters “GKFX”.
The website https://gkfxtradingaccount.com/ appears to be a clone of the website of the legitimate entity. The public should therefore refrain from undertaking any business or transactions with the false entity.

The MFSA would like to remind consumers of financial services not to enter into any financial services transaction unless they have ascertained that the entity with whom the transaction is being made is authorised to provide such services by the MFSA or another reputable financial services regulator.
Investors are advised to be extra cautious when being approached with offers of financial services via unconventional channels such as telephone calls or social media.
