Reuben Vella – Head, Technology

In his position within Technology, Mr Vella oversees pertinent Technology areas that include governance and planning, infrastructure and service management, information systems, and security. Mr Vella represents the MFSA on committees and expert working groups, including the Information Technology Committee of the European Central Bank.

Reuben Vella has been occupying diverse positions at the MFSA for the past 14 years. Prior to joining the MFSA, Reuben worked for 5 years at a software house and another 5 years at an IT vendor.

Mr Vella graduated from Sheffield-Hallam University with Master of Science in Networking Technologies and Management. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems Degree from the London-Metropolitan University, NCC Education Diplomas, and City and Guilds Qualifications.
