An informative booklet on career opportunities within the financial services sector was recently launched by the Education Consultative Council of the Malta Financial Services Authority during a recent seminar organised for Guidance Teachers in Government, Church and Private Schools. The seminar was organised in collaboration with the Guidance Unit within the Education Division.

The booklet entitled ‘Jobs, Careers and Opportunities for Malta’s Financial Services Industry’ is intended to inform students, parents and individuals who are desirous to work within the financial services industry of the various career possibilities, the benefits of working within the industry and the qualities and skills required to achieve success. It also contains information on the relevance of the industry to the local economy, the MFSA itself, the role of the Education Consultative Council and relevant contact details.

It is the intention of the MFSA to distribute the booklet during career related events in which it is involved from time to time and during periodic on site career oriented visits at the MFSA organised by the various schools during their academic year.
