The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) is currently undergoing a number of organisational changes to address the needs of the growing financial services sector while keeping abreast of developments at the European and international level. In order to reflect some of these changes the INVESTMENT SERVICES UNIT will be renamed SECURITIES UNIT with effect from 1st January 2005. The Director of the Unit will remain Ms Cristina Parlato Trigona. The general public is advised that this change in name does not affect any regulatory or licensing requirement and that all legislation and regulation that applied before will still apply under the new nomenclature.
