Update to investors who hold investments in ARM Asset Backed Securities S.A.
MARCH 07, 2014

The Authority would like to update those investors that hold an investment in ARM Asset Backed Securities S.A. [‘ARM’].

In its media statement of 20th February 2014, the Authority had informed thegeneral public that the UK’s Financial Services Compensation Scheme [‘FSCS’] had determined that Maltese investors who hold securities issued by ARM will be treated in the same way as UK investors.

The FSCS today issued an announcement informing investors that investors will receive the claim forms against Catalyst Investment Group Limited [‘Catalyst’] by the end of March 2014. The FSCS will write to all known investors who bought the ARM Bonds inviting them to make a claim against Catalyst.

Investors will need to complete an FSCS application form setting out their claim. In the application form investors will have to provide key information to support their claim for example the details of the bonds they invested in and the firm that advised them to invest in ARM.

Investors do not need to take any action in the meantime. The Authority will continue to update the general public once the FSCS provides further updates.
