This notice is to make the general public aware that HSBC Structured Fund SICAV plc [‘the Scheme’] recently requested the Malta Financial Services Authority [‘MFSA’] to accept the surrender of the collective investment scheme licences granted in relation to [i] Capital Protected EuroStoxx 50 Bonus Fund No; [ii] Capital Protected EuroStoxx 50 Growth Fund No 1; and [iii] EuroStoxx 50 Maxi Growth Fund No 1. The MFSA has accepted the Scheme’s request. This surrender is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from the 12th August, 2009 the Scheme ceased to be licensed by the MFSA.
