Aaron Zammit - Deputy Head, Technology, MFSA

Aaron joined the MFSA in April 2021, taking up the role of Deputy Head for Technology. In March 2023, he moved to Information Systems as Deputy Head of the software development and applications management teams. During a brief chat, he tells us about what the best thing about working at the MFSA is, as well as discussing the opportunities for career development he’s had since joining the team.

What support have you received to continue developing your career?

The MFSA provided me with comprehensive support for my career development. I have completed 14 training courses and participated in several European Forums.

From seeing young colleagues starting out in their careers to my more mature colleagues looking to enhance their skills and progress, I have seen this culture of learning in action.

What is the best thing about working at the MFSA?

Two things – I love working with people coming from so many diverse backgrounds as well as the importance given to investing in technological solutions.

Why did you choose the MFSA as your workplace?

When I initially came across the vacancy, what caught my interest the most was the chance to participate in European forums and to be a part of teams that interact on similar technology concerns.
