The Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) decided to proceed with imposing an administrative penalty of two thousand Euro (€2,000) on the Professional Investor Fund.
BREACHES
The MFSA determined that the Professional Investor Fund has acted in breach of SLC 4.1 of Appendix I to the Rules for PIFs and SLC 1.62 of Part BII of the Rules for PIFs as it failed to submit on time the Annual Fund Return, the Auditor’s Report on the Fund Return, the Fund Return Representation Sheet and the Auditor’s Confirmation for the financial year ended 31 December 2022.
REGULATORY ACTION
On 12 March 2025, the MFSA decided to impose an administrative penalty of two thousand Euro (€2,000) on the Professional Investor Fund.

This notice is being published in terms of Article 16(8) of the Malta Financial Services Authority Act and the MFSA’s Publication Policy.
UPDATE ON 15 APRIL 2025
The Authority’s decision was not appealed before the Financial Services Tribunal within the period established by law.
