This notice is to make the general public aware that Marco Insurance Limited - a company authorised to carry on business of insurance in terms of the Insurance Business Act (Cap. 403, of the Laws of Malta) (“the Act”) has merged into Marco Insurance (PCC) Limited, a company which is also authorised to carry on business of insurance and reinsurance in terms of the Act. Consequently, Marco Insurance Limited’s authorisation ceased to be operative upon the effective date of the merger, being 26 January 2022. The merger is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA.
