This notice is to make the general public aware that La Valette Funds SICAV plc (“the Scheme”) recently requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept surrender of the collective investment scheme licence granted in relation to the La Valette FTSE 100 Index Capital Guaranteed Fund (“the Sub-Fund”). The MFSA has accepted the Scheme’s request. This surrender is entirely voluntary and in line with the maturity and termination period of the Sub-Fund and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from 8th July, 2011, the Sub-Fund ceased to be licensed by the MFSA.
