This notice is to make the general public aware that HSBC Securities Services (Malta) Limited (“the Company”) recently requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept the surrender of its Category 2 Investment Services Licence and Recognition Certificate to provide Fund Administration Services. The MFSA has accepted the Company’s request. The surrender is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from 11 March 2014, the Company ceased to be licensed and recognised by the MFSA.
