This notice is to make the general public aware that Amstel Global Umbrella Fund SICAV plc (“the Scheme”) recently requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept the merger of the Amstel Balanced Fund into the Amstel Dynamic Fund. The MFSA has accepted the Scheme’s request. As a consequence, the Amstel Balanced Fund has surrendered its collective investment scheme licence. This surrender is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from 17th September, 2010, the Amstel Balanced Fund ceased to be licensed by the MFSA.
