This notice is to make the general public aware that General Investment Markets
SICAV plc (“the Scheme”) recently requested the Malta Financial Services Authority
(“MFSA”) to accept the surrender of its collective investment scheme licence, as well
as the collective investment scheme licence granted in relation to its sub-funds,
General Investment Multi Strategy Fund and General Investment Private Finance
Fund. The MFSA has accepted the Scheme’s request. This surrender is entirely
voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA.
Accordingly, with effect from 1 June 2017, the Scheme ceased to be licensed by the
MFSA.
