This notice is to make the general public aware that Global Funds SICAV plc (“the Scheme”) recently requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept surrender of the collective investment scheme licences granted in relation to three of its sub-funds, namely the “Aberdeen (Malta) China Opportunities Fund”, “Melita International Bond Fund” and the “Aberdeen (Malta) Technology Fund” (collectively referred to as “the Sub-Funds”). The MFSA has accepted the Scheme’s request. This surrender is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from 31st July, 2007, the Sub-Funds ceased to be licensed by the MFSA.
