This notice is to make the general public aware that HSBC International Financial Advisors (Malta) Limited (“the Company”) requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept surrender of the category 1A investment services licence. The MFSA has accepted the Company’s request. This surrender is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from the 30th June 2009, the Company ceased to be licensed by the MFSA.
