This notice is to make the general public aware that Mr James Bonello (“the Individual”) requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept the surrender of the authorisation which was issued to act as an Administrator of Private Interest Foundations in terms of Article 43(12)(b) of the Trusts and Trustees Act (Cap. 331 of the Laws of Malta) as well as to act as a Company Service Provider in terms of Regulation 3(1)(a) of the Company Service Providers (Exemption) Regulations. This surrender is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from 08 March 2024, the Individual ceased to be authorised by the MFSA.
