Withdrawal of authorisation of Atlas Capital Financial Services Ltd by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission
JUNE 05, 2017

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (“CySEC”) has notified the Malta Financial Services Authority that, in terms of its decision of the 13th February 2017, it has wholly withdrawn the authorisation of the Cyprus Investment Firm (“CIF”) Atlas Capital Financial Services Ltd (“the Company”) and accordingly, the Company is no longer authorised by CySEC to carry out investment and ancillary services and activities as an investment firm. The Company is therefore no longer authorised to passport its services in Malta under Article 31 of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Directive 2004/39/EC). Following CySEC’s decision, the Company should settle, within a period of three months, its obligations arising from the services which it is no longer allowed to provide or perform. In view of the abovementioned withdrawal of authorisation by CySEC, the Malta Financial Services Authority strongly advises against responding to any offer of financial services from Atlas Capital Financial Services Ltd.
